When I was younger, pop or soda, was a special treat. We didn't get it very often because it wasn't considered part of a healthy meal plan.
It was like desert, a treat to look forward too, on a special occasion.
It was definitely not a daily thing!
Milk or juice was what our parents served us. (That was all they let us drink.)
Things have really changed.
A lot of families don't eat at the table anymore. They take their food on a plate, and plant themselves in front of the T.V.
Probably with pop or a soda!
Today, soda is something people drink when ever and where ever they want too. It's sort of a social thing to do.

If a person is thirsty, they can just grab a coke or anything else out of the fridge. It doesn't have to be healthy, as long as it tastes good.
Most people drink stuff like soda, more often than they should. But, hey! If you want one, go ahead and have one! Just limit yourself and you will probably be fine.
There are those energy drinks too: Some of those are not real good for us either, with all the caffeine in them, yet there are some that have no caffeine. The choice is your own!
The thing to do is... be aware of what you are putting in your body.
It can make a real difference in how you feel.

We are all different individuals, we have our own needs, so it's great to have so many choices. But...a good rule to follow would be; just don't over do anything that is questionable to your health.
Sounds simple doesn't it? But it's really more complicated than you might think.
With the fast paced schedules some of us live, we may decide on a whim, to do whatever is easiest at the time and not consider our health right at the moment. "That can become a bad habit".
It happens!
We are all guilty of that, but we need to keep in mind, too, that we can develop those bad eating habits without even realizing it.
Time goes by and pretty soon we wonder why we feel so crappy, then we wonder where all the extra weight came from.
I can tell you from experience, that weight, kinda creeps up on you... and the thing is: it doesn't come off half as easily as you gain it!
Getting back into shape once you have gotten out of control is hard work.
It is best for you to follow a meal plan now, so your life won't become such a struggle later.
Trying to remain healthy now, is going to benefit you later, as the clock ticks away.
Decide how you want to live your life now and constantly work towards that goal.
Your health will determine whether you reach many of your goals because bad health can get in the way of your plans and ruin the dreams that you had for yourself and your family.
That is reality. But... you can control your own reality by being careful. "Everything in moderation" is a good rule.
Stay aware of your habits and learn what works for you!
